Work to publish the community website for the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy's active community. Mentor other students on web production and web skills.

Consultant/Developer/Project Coordinator, OpenClinica
As Senior Project Coordinator for Akaza Research, architect and design a database-backed application designed to handle clinical data and patient privacy. Currently issued through the lesser GNU Public License.
Technologies Used: Java 2 Enterprise Edition (including JSP/Servlets/JSTL), Apache Tomcat Server 5.0, the Oracle and PostgreSQL relational databases (including SQL, PLSQL, triggers, views),HTML, XML, Software Build Tools (including ANT, Anthill, CVS).

Spring 2001
Secondary Sources: As part of our capstone project for Philip Greenspun's Software Engineering for the Web Course at ArsDigita University, Bryon Gill, Blake Asdorian and I developed a database-backed website for the debate portal SecondarySources.com. The site, originally based at Boston College, was eventually spun into the Planet Debate web portal.
Technologies used: Python, AOLServer, Postgres relational database, and PyWX (Python Web Extensions for AOLServer).
Spring 2003
PerplexMUD: As an extra credit project for Professor Alva Couch's COMP150PPP Perl Programming Practicum, wrote a Multi-User Dungeon (MUD) in object-oriented Perl. Source code is here, issued under a Lesser GPL license.
Technologies used: Perl, Linux.
Fall 2003
Medford.org: As part of Professor Kent Portney's and Professor Anselm Blumer's COMP150EG E-Government course, propsed a redesign of the Medford City Website that promoted service to the community and usability. A static redesign is here, report on municipal site usability is here.

Summer 2004
The VoiceRSS Project: As the capstone project for Tufts University's COMP150MMC Multimedia Communications course, desgined a service that reads RSS feeds through Voice XML over the telephone. Example code pages are here and here.
