Welcome to my little repository of work and experiences. I'm using this site as a place to collect links to projects, schools, and organizations I've been involved in, as well as some things I've written (code, literary criticism, entertainment, and opinion) and some pictures of places I've been, things I've done, and people I've known.
Currently and through mid-July, I am a student at ArsDigita University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Officially, ADUni is described as an initiative of the ArsDigita Foundation, which in turn, is funded by the ArsDigita Corporation. This year has been an incredible experience both academically and personally, and though lately things have gotten rough and the program has lost funding, neither I, nor anyone else who has been affiliated with it has any regrets. There is much, much more to say about the program, especially recent events including the recent sudden firing of all the non-university foundation staff and the corporation's and foundation's founder, Philip Greenspun, but I'll keep that to another page.
Before aDUni, I attended and graduated from Oberlin College, in Oberlin, OH.
What did I do while I was there? Well, there is that little English honors thesis, helping found and run the Oberlin Computer Recycling Program, also known as (ocrp, pronounced "oh, crap"), running and riding on the Equestrian Team, a couple years of involvement with Oberlin Stray Rescue, working for the computer center as an rcc and a help desk consultant, and once in a while I had time for a grand adventure or two along the way.
