Faculty | Students | Teaching Assistants

The teaching assistants (TAs) were critical to the program's success. They came from MIT, Rice, and Harvard, in most cases having studied Computer Science or Mathematics into the graduate level.

The student lab was often staffed late into the night, a necessity given that problem sets were due as often as every day. Not only were TAs the ones students would turn to when stuck on a problem, they were responsible for grading problem sets, a heavy demand given the pace of the program.
